As the seasons change, so does the Reservoir and the wildlife that uses it. Join us and our friends from Sustainable Jersey City for birding walk guided by ornithologist Michael Britt on Saturday, October 6 from 8:30am – 10am. Space is limited, so sign up now. (If you have trouble using Meetup to register, send us an email at ed [at] edmullen [dot] com) Jersey City Reservoir is a stopover habitat for waterfowl and a range of neotropical and woodland short-distance migrants. We also hope to spot a number of shorebirds, wading birds (herons & egrets) and rails. Michael Britt is a passionate ornithologist for more than twenty years. His activity includes working as an associate naturalist for New Jersey Audubon Society, Reviewer for eBird, Compiler for the Lower Hudson Christmas Bird Count and authoring numerous writings in the field. Binoculars will be be available at the site. This free event inaugurates a project coordinated by Sustainable JC: the Urban Habitats for Wildlife Serie
